As part of the 19th Türkiye Investment Conference, we held a Cybersecurity Roundtable Meeting in collaboration with AmCham Türkiye and Mastercard, with the participation of H.E. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services; Umit Ünal, President of the Cybersecurity Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye; DEİK President Nail Olpak; DEİK/Türkiye–U.S. Business Council (TAİK) Chairman Murat Özyeğin; and AmCham Türkiye Vice Chair Ayşem Sargın.
The meeting brought together senior representatives from the Türkiye and U.S. technology ecosystems to discuss key industry trends, common challenges and areas for cooperation, Türkiye’s growing digital ecosystem, developments in cybersecurity and digital governance, the use of artificial intelligence in the public sector, and emerging technologies shaping the development of a secure and resilient digital ecosystem.
The discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening Türkiye–U.S. cooperation in cybersecurity, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital governance, while exploring new opportunities for investment and collaboration across the technology ecosystem.
With strong interest and participation, the 19th Türkiye Investment Conference provided a comprehensive platform to discuss Türkiye’s investment and business opportunities, in line with our $100 billion bilateral trade target between Türkiye and the United States.
