19th TRICON Energy Roundtable

As part of the 19th Türkiye Investment Conference, we held an Energy Roundtable Meeting hosted by Franklin Templeton, in collaboration with the American Business Roundtable (ATBR) and the Atlantic Council. The meeting brought together Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye, Alparslan Bayraktar, Chairman of the TBMM Commission on Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology, Mustafa Varank, DEİK President Nail Olpak, DEİK/Türkiye–U.S. Business Council (TAİK) Chairman Murat Özyeğin, and senior representatives of leading U.S. energy companies.

The meeting focused on Türkiye’s energy transition and the investment opportunities emerging across the sector, including Türkiye’s renewable energy potential and transition, the integration of nuclear energy, particularly small modular reactors (SMRs), into the energy mix, LNG investment and trade, critical minerals, battery storage, and smart grid technologies.

In line with the $100 billion bilateral trade target between Türkiye and the United States, we aim to further increase bilateral trade and expand mutual investments, while creating new avenues for cooperation in the energy sector and beyond.

We would like to thank the sponsors of the 19th Türkiye Investment Conference, Borusan Holding, Çalık Holding, Fiba Holding, Kibar Holding, Koç Holding, Limak Holding, Sabancı Holding, Sahibinden, Turkish Airlines, and Türk Telekom for their valuable support and for contributing to new avenues of cooperation in Türkiye–U.S. economic relations.
